We want you to manage the owners and be the connection between our ideas and reality.

Often times you will see that we dont have enough structure.

I even recommend putting up a sticky note on your computer that says:

My Job is to find the rough patches of the business and smooth them out.

Warning: You will often be annoyed by the way Abe and Jonathan do things, particularly in the sense of structure. Your job is to remind us of structure and put into place repeatable processes and metrics that make everyone’s life better.

YOU ARE THE STRUCUTRE OF THIS BUSINESS

• Make the Owners life easier by finding things you can take of their plate, listen in meetings for things you can take away from them.
  • be the person that says things like:
    • „You shouldn‘t be doing that, someone on the team can handle that“
    • That sounds like a task for someone else, you could be using your time better
    • What could you focus on if you delegated that?
    • That sounds like a task I could do. May I take that off your plate and take that on as my responsibility?
• Pay close attention to the structure and find system gaps
  • Develop a refined way of doing things and present solutions
• Ask frequently in a private message to Abe and Jonathan (separate from each other): What‘s on your calendar that actually should be on mine?
• You are the middle man for everyone in the business, you will get tasks assigned by other team members and you will touch base with team members on projects they are working on.

  • You will often function as a project manager

    • You will often hear about the realistic workload of team members
      • Please communicate with us the overall moral and mental health of the team, we dont want anyone to miss out on family life because we are giving them to much work without knowing.

  • You will often function as the person they turn to before us for frustration
